Multiple District N , was chartered by Lions Clubs International July 6, 2007, with the division of Multiple District 41 into the single District 41 (Maine, USA) and the Atlantic Provinces of Canada plus Fort Kent, Fort Fairfield and Calais, Maine, USA. the smaller Multiple District serves New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and 3 clubs on the Maine _New Brunswick border under District N-1, Nova Scotia under District N-2and Newfoundland West and East under N-3 and N-4. 94 YEARS OF HUMANITARIAN SERVICE Lions Clubs International was founded on June 7, 1917 in Chicago, Illinois by Lion Melvin Jones. It is now the largest service organization in the world, serving in 201 countries. Since its beginning, Lions Clubs International has maintained a strong mission, expressed in our motto, "We Serve." Multiple District N welcomes our sitting Director 2011 - 2013 MARVIN CHAMBERS INTERNATIONAL DIRECTOR Marvin Chambers, from Fillmore, Saskatchewan, Canada, was elected to serve a two-year term as a director of The International Association of Lions Clubs at the association’s 94th International Convention, held in Seattle, Washington, USA, July 4 to July 8, 2011. Director Chambers is an agricultural consultant and the mayor of Fillmore. A member of the Fillmore and District Lions Club since 1971, he has held many offices within the association, including club president, region chair, zone chair and district governor. He also served as a Guiding Lion and convention chairperson, attended extension workshops and helped start three Lions clubs and a Leo club. Director Chambers Biography
