At long last, I am happy to announce the Lions of Canada Fund for LCIF has been approved by the Canadian government as a charitable organization and is now operational! A legal agreement has been finalized with the Lions Clubs International Foundation in order to receive donations through the Fund from Canadian Lions, and disburse funds for grants to Canadian Districts.
The official name of the organization is the Lions of Canada Fund for LCIF and its charity registration number is 85732 1517. A bank account will be set up for the Fund, but in the meantime please send personal donation cheques to me at my address below made out to the Fund. A tax receipt will be issued. Remember that these donations are from individuals and not clubs. Since a Canadian tax receipt is not needed, all club donations will go directly to LCIF as usual.

This is an exciting time for the Lions of Canada and I hope that our support for LCIF and LCIF’s support for Canada is expanded and enhanced through the Fund and many more individuals can be impacted by LCIF and the Lions of Canada.
